Hi, I have recently taken to playing correspondence games on the site and have increased my grade from the starting 1500 points to 1868(?). I have a few days ago started two new games and although I have a rating of 1868 for one of these games I am rated at only 1500 in the other. Is there any reason why this is so. I have so far only played six games at correspondence style chess on this site.

Each variant has its own rating, the game where you are rated 1500? is crazyhouse and presumably the first one you have played.

Thank you for that, I had no idea. I thought it was an ordinary game. I shall actually look at that which I commit to in future.
