The Real Reason Hans Niemann is Accused of cheating and Banned by Chess.com

Because he upset Magnus by beating him.

If he lost that game he would not be banned by chess.com or have been accused of cheating by Magnus.

Not to mention the $82.9 million dollar incentive chess.com had to ban him.

He is being railroaded by the elite because he is too good.
@ThunderClap yes but everyone has a past and there is no way he is cheating OTB. He is just beating the wrong people. And BTW since he isn’t cheating over the board. He is pretty good.
And? That was in the past, but he is being banned for no supported reason, no evidence now. I am a Magnus fan, but I do not believe there is any solid evidence Niemann cheated. Perhaps Magnus is mad because he lost valuable points toward 2900(if the tournament counts toward FIDE)? I have stated my opinion, and won’t elaborate further.
@Cedur216 There is an 83 million dollar deal going down right now between chess.com and Magnus. And in the middle of that, and exactly during the tournament chess.com bans Hans.

That is NOT conspiracy story. That’s phone call.

Most people don’t understand business over people and rules. (I do not think it is right) They do not want their deal messed with and if Carlsen isn’t the best , they look pretty stupid spending all that money.

They then do what is within their power to hold on.

Plain and simple.

Now, since he has cheated before (I see a lot of BS excuses for it as well) he is the east target . Since everyone is tight lipped on accusations and proof it can only be the above.
