Never been crushed this badly before

Yes, 8...Ne7 is like a main variation with 1 tempo more. The plan is then 9...Nd7 or 9...Nh5 or 9...Ne8 and 10...f5.
The twist 8...Nd4 is also typical in the King's Indian Defence, e.g. 1 d4 Nf6 2 c4 g6 3 Nc3 Bg7 4 e4 d6 5 Be2 O-O 6 Nf3 e5 7 O-O Nc6 8 Be3 Re8 9 d5 Nd4.
@tpr this is how I typically lose on time, when the position is closed I lose on time frequently

And,

Game 1 you played well. You spent 135 seconds on 15...g5. What were you thinking and what alternative moves did you consider?

Game 2 you played well too. At the end you had him in a mating net, so a few seconds left would have been enough for checkmate. You spent 123 seconds on 17 g4. What were you thinking and what alternative moves did you consider?

Both were 10+0 games, so you should on average spend about 10 seconds per move allowing for a 60 move game. 135 or 123 seconds may be excessive for 1 move. If you had just spent like 10 seconds less on these 2 moves, you might have checkmated him in the 2nd game and you might have had time to win the 1st game.

I advocate playing slowly, especially in the opening, but 120 s in a 10+0 game i.e. 20% of your total time on 1 move may be the limit.
As you can see both g4 and g5 involve expending on the kingside, I have some Kind of mental blocade when it comes to gaining space on the kingside, I always feel like if the position opens up I'm gonna get checkmated, so I usually spend too much time trying to make sure that I'm safe.

I think on the first game I was trying to make fxg3 work but it didn't give me anything

The 2nd game I wanted to transfer the queen to the kingside but didn't see an efficient Way to do so,indeed g4 seems really obvious
Bah, if you've never been crushed so badly you've never played the Dutch Defense against a master! :P

(1.d4 f5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.Bg5 h6 4.Bxf6 gxf6 5.e4 fxe4 6.Qh5#)
In the 1st game ...a5 was an alternative trying to stop white's initiative on the queen's side. That is where the real danger lies for you in this kind of position.
In the 2nd game Bg5 was an alternative. g4 and ...g5 are typical moves in this kind of position. It is good to take your time and look for alternatives, but 2 minutes of your available total 10 minutes is too much.
I think you are too anxious while playing: afraid to lose on time, afraid of a nonexisting checkmate. The position cannot open, as the centre is fully blocked. You do not need to fear for the safety of your king, as he has no pieces on that side and as he cannot bring any due to the closed centre. You should however consider his potential on the queen's wing. If he can just win one pawn and your attack does not get through, you may well lose the endgame.
Out of curiosity: how is it obvious that Jura77 was using an engine?
I can understand it may seem suspicious him finding good moves in the game considering his rating (especially Qd2 and Bg5), but what do you mean when you say it was obvious?
He was marked as a cheater and you must get your rating back.
@laatikko it's impossible to go from playing like this
