I'm not going to watch the match. It is pointless.
In a way, this reeks of Karpov becoming world champion without beating the world champion. Karpov was able to prove he was deserving of the title, but will Nepo or Ding be able to do that?
Ding because idk
I couldn't care less, really. I just hope the games are interesting.

If you win the match between the numbers 1 and 2 of the Candidates, then, yeah, you deserve the title. The title is "World Chess Champion", not "Worthy enough in the eyes of the kibitzers of Lichess".
As for team Ding or team Nepo, my answer is neither. I seldom root for sports people. I just want to see a battle, with both sides going for it.
