I’m 15 years old and I’ve been playing chess for a little over a year now and my dad’s been whooping my ass at chess. He has been playing for a long time and I need help beating him. I need someone to help and coach me to beat him. Me and him play a lot of mind games and shit talk a lot while playing chess so is there anyway I can out talk him or play harder mind games? Thank you in advance.
1. DON'T talk while playing.
2. Practice tactics and endgames
3. Check carefully before moving a piece

Hi, @IChrisI I am also a beginner once, My dad beat me in chess most times. So i started watching one channel in youtube named as "Chess Talk" made by @ChessTalkOfficial . I learned many tricks and traps and eventually i beat my Father many times now. So i advice you to see Chess Talk Youtube Channel to get better in chess.

If you tell us what kind of openings your dad plays maybe we can cook up something.
Or you take your time: Here on lichess are plenty of useful Things that help you improve: Tab "learn" or tactic puzzles. At your rating your biggest problem are maybe undefended pieces, here i can recommend IM Bartholomews "Chess fundamentals series" on Youtube (www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ao9iOeK_jvU).
In Chess you should take your time. If you try to learn sth new every day, you will improve slowly but steady. Maybe you wont defeat your dad tomorrow, maybe not in one week, but if you are really willing to put your time into it, you get stronger and stronger every time you play and eventually beat your dad. :)

Get the book "How to beat your dad at chess" by Murray Chandler.
If you want to beat your dad in chess (not once, but regularly), you have to become a better chess player than your dad. I'm afraid there are no shortcuts.
You can start with the practice section here on Lichess - do the entire page 3x over, you'll see a big improvement.
