Sicilian Defense: Smith-Morra Gambit Accepted
  1. ErunaMe (2.d4) Years ago, I would just play the mainlines, with success despite not knowing theory. But my openings been bad lately.
  2. ErunaMe (2...cxd4) (2.d4) So I'm giving some slightly unsound aggression a try.
  3. ErunaMe (3...dxc3) (3.c3) I have never actually played this before, let's hope this doesn't backfire.
  4. mikibene it seems like an old good smith morra, let's hope it does not get too wild
  5. ErunaMe (4.Nxc3) If nothing else, I seem to have simultanously caught my opponent completely off guard.
