  1. glbert go eie24!
  2. eie24 the main question is: how did glbert manage to be here the second I accepted the challenge?
  3. glbert i am a champion at bullet, that's how.
  4. glbert *ultrabullet
  5. glbert not so much at typing.
  6. Zher0 go eie24!
  7. Max-Esko los max
  8. eie24 main line would've been Nc3 Qa5 Bd2 Bxa6 Be2, if I still go for Qa5 this move order will give white additional options, so I opted for d6
  9. maxivgc 16. Like my position. For now it seems relatively simple to play. Mainly trying to play quickly
  10. eie24 I feel like Rfb1 wasn't the most ambitious way of playing for white
  11. maxivgc also 16 Rb1 was probably inaccurate. Think Nd2 was better there
  12. maxivgc 18 h3 might seem a bit slow but Nd2 runs into h6 and Ng4. This is why i shouldve played that earlier
  13. eie24 What? Nh2 I suppose, but still, this seems quite off
  14. eie24 If h3 is to stop Ng4, that never really was my main plan anyway, stopping Rb4 seems way more important to me
  15. maxivgc whoooops
  16. eie24 decided I'm not scared enough by Qc6
  17. eie24 seems like he has to take here
  18. glbert i don't understand why, but that is nice.
  19. maxivgc 26. think im still within the draw margin. However its no secret that he is better
  20. maxivgc 28. Rb2 with the idea of Ra2 and Na5 would be extremly strong if he didnt have e6
  21. maxivgc guess im going to trade off the rock and suffer a bit
  22. eie24 they always talk about the king-walks, but how about a queen-walk?
  23. maxivgc f4 weekens my king but passed pawns also count for something.
  24. maxivgc tbh f4 was probably too early
  25. BrikNJ If Qxd2 Kd1
  26. BrikNJ Then if Qc6 Nd6 might work
  27. k-night-moves why not 36...exd6? if nxd6 qe7+ ne4 f5
  28. BrikNJ Probably missed that
  29. BrikNJ Because Qxd5 looks wrong now
  30. BrikNJ Great benko theory played here, excited to analyze this game
  31. BrikNJ Is black going for a perpetual or Qc6?
  32. k-night-moves qc6 nd6!
  33. BrikNJ Yep
  34. k-night-moves maybe it works
  35. BrikNJ Hard to see the refutation
  36. BrikNJ Especially because the option to underpromote with check is there
  37. BrikNJ If Qc6 Nd6 bet black goes for perpetual check
  38. k-night-moves yeah thats right. qxd6 e8=n+
  39. BrikNJ Black just takes draw then
  40. BrikNJ If Qb8 still Nd6
  41. White offers draw
  42. BrikNJ Black can't stop pawn has to take draw
  43. Draw offer accepted
  44. BrikNJ gg
  45. cordanis1 well played
  46. maxivgc im pretty sure you are winning somehow in the final position
  47. maxivgc I just dont see how but it looks completly lost
  48. eie24 ok, SF shows I had to maneuver the Queen to c6
  49. BrikNJ Oh wow black has a win
  50. maxivgc altough stockfish also took some time to find the win haha
  51. maxivgc I should not have gone for e5
  52. maxivgc i simply thought that taking should not be more than a draw because i have the passed pawn but i did not calculate anything
  53. maxivgc h3 was a terrible move
  54. maxivgc i was considering b3, Bd2, Nd2 but then for some reason i snapped and played h3
  55. maxivgc ofc that simply loses a pawn
  56. maxivgc after that I was lucky
  57. eie24 yeah, I was very surprised by h3
  58. maxivgc the engine even likes Qc2
  59. maxivgc that was a move i really wanted to play but for some reason i thought moving the queen to c2 to e2 to c2 again should not be good
  60. maxivgc just out of interest, what is your fide?
  61. eie24 I don't have a fide, because I've not yet played OTB chess
  62. k-night-moves ah nd6 doesnt work
  63. k-night-moves because black gets the e3 square
  64. k-night-moves and picks off the pawn
