  1. cacheyourdreams is his queen trapped after 13...Bf6 Qd3 14.N7e5 ?
  2. cacheyourdreams ah, I guess he has 14.Qc4
  3. cacheyourdreams I could try and prep it with something like 13...Nb6 if he plays some move like Rd1 say, I might have 14...Bxf3 15.Bxf3 Bf6 it all seems
  4. cacheyourdreams a bit flimsy though, say he plays e5 there, and it's not a forcing variation by any means anyway
  5. cacheyourdreams he will probably play 14.h3 now that the rook on h1 is defended, so need to take that into account
  6. cacheyourdreams 13...b5 14.h3 Bf6 looks kinda appealing 15. e5 and I take with the knight?
  7. cacheyourdreams it would probably be far wiser to have just played 13...Bf6 rather than going in for all this stuff, but we'll see if I live to regret it
  8. cacheyourdreams or maybe I should just castle one day ^_^
  9. cacheyourdreams it's quite handy having a knight on g6 I think, it means if we do end up in some variation with him playing e5, f4 is sufficiently guard
  10. cacheyourdreams so one line that works out nicely is 14.h3 Bf6 15.e5 N7xe5 16.hxg4? Nxg4+
  11. cacheyourdreams King has to go to the back rank, f1 or e1 I take h1, and g1 I take queen on d4 with check. Think that all works right? :/
  12. cacheyourdreams I actually thought he might be thinking about taking on b5 twice, think it should be pretty eas to refute but didn't look at fully :/
  13. cacheyourdreams I was looking at taking the other way round though, Nxb5 then Bxb5
  14. cacheyourdreams 16.Nxc7 and I'll play Rac8 if his knight moves back I'm not taking on c2, I'm playing Bxf3 and Bf6 I think
  15. cacheyourdreams 19. rook moves and I can play Bd4+ I think, just trading more and more pieces off
  16. cacheyourdreams long as I never get mated on g7...
  17. cacheyourdreams 22. c5 and I can take twice
  18. cacheyourdreams 25... Qh5 coming up, threaten Qxf3+ and Rxe4+
  19. cacheyourdreams so maybe he needs to play 25.Qf2 or something
  20. cacheyourdreams got to remember the g pawn is pinned, so 34.Qc3 might be a trick he goes for
  21. cacheyourdreams or like this, but prob. Rxd6 is fine?
