  1. BadAtBlitz this is a Simon Williams killer d4 line. I'm guessing he hasn't prepped for this in particular
  2. BadAtBlitz maybe 8.f3 was more accurate to stop Ng4 ideas
  3. BadAtBlitz this is so aggro :)
  4. SuperIntegration "If you're attacked on the wing, counter in the centre"
  5. SuperIntegration I like my position here; my idea next is to take e4 (twice if he takes back with the knight) and go Bg4, arguing then it's hard for him
  6. SuperIntegration to develop the g1-knight as Rf3 is then a pain
  7. Aliquantus should black play 16... Nd3+ so the knight can go to f4 or is that stupid?
  8. Aliquantus might have been
  9. BadAtBlitz looks like the gam'es interesting enough to keep seb32 awake
  10. SuperIntegration lots of moves look good here... Rf4 and Bg4 both come into consideration
  11. Aliquantus 17... Qf6 for Qf4? Feels like the endgames are pretty good for black?
  12. CitronSauvage Feels also like the middlegame is pretty dangerous for black haha so that should be a good idea to exchange queens
  13. CitronSauvage Nh3 ?
  14. Aliquantus Nh4 Nxe4 or Nh3 Rxh4 maybe? not sure i want to take the h-pawn though, gives white better attacking chances in a way
  15. Aliquantus Nh3*
  16. Aliquantus or Bxh3 also an option, i think it was okay for black
  17. Aliquantus 19... Qe7 for 20... Rf8 looks good?
  18. SuperIntegration Qf8 looks fine here I think
  19. SuperIntegration if I exchange the queens his pieces all look a bit funny
  20. SuperIntegration I need to be careful with my king here
  21. SuperIntegration Can I play Nxe4...?
  22. SuperIntegration I'm just going to keep things simple and take the pawn.
  23. SuperIntegration ahhh crapbaskets there's Rg1
  24. SuperIntegration ah it might be ok, just take c3. panic over
  25. SuperIntegration We're not going to play Rg4 and blunder everything now are we? No. Good Sam.
  26. SuperIntegration (I like talking to myself)
  27. SuperIntegration (talking to chat feels like talking to myself)
  28. SuperIntegration (it's fun)
  29. SuperIntegration ...well Ng5 is alarming
  30. Aliquantus How did Rg4 blunder everything? Maybe Rg4 Rxg4 Bxg4 Rg1 h5 Nh2 Kh8 Nxg4 Rg8 and I think black remains a pawn up
  31. Aliquantus But not really clear how good the winning chances are
  32. SuperIntegration ok now I have to defend Ng5
  33. oddskill h6 maybe an idea
  34. Aliquantus Rf8 looks good too
  35. BadAtBlitz yeah i know this has been terrible for ages
  36. BadAtBlitz thoroughly deserve to lose
  37. BadAtBlitz maybe there are still tricks in this position
  38. Aliquantus looks like your team is going down oddskill&seb32 :(
  39. SuperIntegration huh can't I just gang up on the knight now?
  40. SuperIntegration I don't see it...
  41. SuperIntegration I mean I get it, Rg7 but it doesn't seem all that effective down a piece
  42. BadAtBlitz seb32 i'd go to bed if i were you
  43. BadAtBlitz terrible play. i'd blame the chaos at home as i'm playing in but that would be lazy
  44. BadAtBlitz fact is i played inaccurately at crucial moments and superintegration took advantage
  45. BadAtBlitz and you could say i played too fast. True for some moves. But a lot of my moves were pretty much forced if i was going to get any play
  46. Aliquantus don't blunder mate!
  47. BadAtBlitz just going to try to play quickly and actively and force him to win with less time. but i'm sure he'll win
  48. oddskill may he be blind for the backrank
  49. SuperIntegration ...I think he just missed mate
  50. BadAtBlitz that's a juicy a2 pawn go on
  51. Aliquantus Bf5 covered Rc8# though
  52. oddskill yap
  53. BadAtBlitz should have played b4
  54. Aliquantus feels like e4-e3-e2 wins?
  55. oddskill gg everybody
  56. Aliquantus gg
  57. BadAtBlitz meh at least stockfish says i didn't miss anything at the end, and i knew i'd been terrible for ages
