  3. TonyRo I was a bit more worried about being ready for 4.Nf3.
  4. TonyRo I think it's an objectively better move, but you do have to be ready for a lot of Black systems if you play that way.
  5. Aliquantus Yup, agreed, and I'm really not. I never got the Alekhine otb so never put any work into it

  7. Aliquantus I've played Nf3 online many times as well, but I don't really know what I'm doing there either. :P

  41. TonyRo You can reach Viennas and Frenches from the Alekhine. Hard to say that 1...e5 or the Sicilian transpose to other openings pretty much ever.
