Richard Reti is known as a legend, winning multiple strong tournaments and creating a legacy of him that would be remembered by generations to come!!!

The legend was famous for his opening! 1. Nf3 d5 2. c4
Till this day, it is played in top level chess and is a solid system.

Another thing he was famous for was an anything but famous idea in his opening.

Thus, I'm writing this blog as a tribute to the legend!

This idea helped me to win a crucial game in the dying rounds of the National Age Group Championship 2023 and I snuck into top 4!
