hiding player names in kid mode

I will create an account for my sister but I come into some not so nice names sometimes so I don't want her to play people with stupid/inappropriate names. An option for this would be very good imo.

Thank you for this great chess site.
I also think that would be too much. Just denying the existence of stupid/inappropriate names doesn't helps anybody to deal with them. Also I never played against someone with a really mean name on lichess...
I think #1 is a genuine concern, but how should one go about this ? May be a dummy name pool can be made for "kid-mode" in which every username is shown as some "consistent" other name...
LOL what constitutes a name that shouldn't be shown? How does one objectively decide something that is entirely subjective?

I don't think FuckYouBitch148 or Auschwitz1943 or Coon_Ass are particularly nice names, but if they haven't overly bothered themselves about racism on lichess, I can't see them worrying about keeping your little sister happy!

Why are you trying to stop your sister facing the realities of life, anyway? She won't thank you for it in the long run. Just because you don't look at something doesn't mean it isn't there.
I agree. I think there should be some sort of randomly generated usernames created for opponents of people who are in Kid Mode. Maybe name them after great chess players.
I second #5 with practically the same arguments.

I'd suggest you activate Kid Mode (http://en.lichess.org/account/kid) for her account so that she can't read/use any social features here.

And, if you do see one of those rare names - just report it.

But it's true - she's going to learn those bad words eventually (and probably sooner than you'd think), but that's another debate.
"users with any directly offensive, derogatory or defamatory usernames will be banned without notice."

Let your sister know that if she finds any inappropriate usernames, she should let you know so you can report them for us. Thanks!
Thanks for all responses. But I'm not interested in any pedagogical debate.

A technical question then; is there a way to do this or a similar thing from the user end? Like through CSS or Javascript?
