USCF tournament participant was banned. How do I know if he cheated during the tournament?

Well then, there's a fairly good chance that the ban was for something else, too bad that it's no longer distinguishable

Ocham's razor says that the simplest explanation is most likely the correct explanation but not guaranteed to be the correct one.
Given that he lost some of his games and at most 2 games are in question, then a simple explanation would be that he violated some other term of agreement.
It's useless to discuss this issue with me. Once in an blue moon this tag is wrong and will be removed. Unless this happens I rest my case.
It is a legitimate question.
The tournament organiser wants to know if he has to disqualify said player or not before sending in the tournament report to the USCF.
If he cheated, then he should be disqualified and all his games removed from the tournament.
If he was banned for some verbal abuse, insults, racism, sexism... then the ban may be justified, but he should not be disqualified from the tournament.
The question is about the integrity of the tournament.
It used to be clearer, when it was stated "used engine assistance" or other reasons.
Actually the iOS still has the old wording? At least in German, wasn’t aware of that.
I sent a message to appeal which was the only topic that seemed applicable and received this response:

I went to discord and it hung up at the enter your birthdate part.

If the necessary info on such things can't be resolved, I'll have to reconsider LiChess as a viable USCF tournament venue. Rather a shame given how excellent the site is otherwise.
#18 I sent a message to help-contact-other days ago. No response. Since then I ran my own cheat analysis and decided there wasn't any other than maybe the possibility of using an opening book but that is nearly unprovable. So, I've submitted the tournament as is to the USCF.
I don't understand why Lichess can't disclose a specific reason why a person was banned. They definitely should for situations like this
