Time stands still for the opponent

It happened to me more than once here that, when me and opponent have only few secs on the clock and play very fast moves, his time like stands still, i.e. when I play move time passes (few tenths of the second) and doesn't go back, and when he plays a move he gets few tenths of a second back, like some kind of a increment, and as a result his time is like the same. Why is that? Our match ISN'T set with any increment (we play 3+0) and described situation happens only in last 4-5 secs of the match.
For example, chech match on lichess.org/Dpycvw3Ehz3e, again for the last 8-10 fast moves my opponent's time was standing still, why is that?
@mayday_bbb A combination of lag and lag compensation makes it appear that way. Now to your opponent, they are seeing a different clock because of the lag.

Is it frustrating? Yeah, it is. But keep in mind Lichess does its best to lag compensate already and that if you're truly a certain rating you'll easily grind up there again.
No, I think it might be because he was premoving, @mayday_bbb . Premove is like moving a piece before our turn so after you played your move, the exact same time his piece moved. In premoving time remains same and mostly due to network connection, after several premoves, a few tenths of seconds are gone. You can premove by simply tapping a piece while your opponents is thinking and press any valid square for the piece.

Was just looking at this game and yeah I think I'm with @Chess-King90 here - he was premoving.

Sorry, I hadn't looked at the game before I posted and thought it was an equal position, my bad!
Thanx. So basically you are saying that IF I stop premoving THEN it wont seem like opponent's time is standing still? And I should wait for him to make a move and only then move my piece?

Well kind of. You see, if you premove your time stands still. If your opponent has also premoved, his time would also stand still. Usually this doesn't happen, because you don't usually get time.
It happened to me again - check here: lichess.org/Y5AnxvXmLqCI
How is it possible that opponent made like 10 moves in 1 second or so, and in the same period I went down from like 15 seconds to 0?? What should I or shouldn't I do in such situations??
