Premove takes time

"Premoves still don't take any time. The issue is probably with the animation speed you have selected.
" WOW thanks OneoftheQ....I have lost several games from this! Animation=none from now on!
Well it's not true. I am not getting any advantage but the other side is getting disadvantage because animation is keeping on. It is different. Because it is the other side choice.
The other side is trading time for animation, not me.
Dzo, you misunderstand what I'm saying.

You say that it is stupid for animation time to count against your clock.

My point was that if that were changed so that animation time didn't count towards your clock, THEN people with slow animation would have a tiny advantage, because they'd have a little extra time to think about the move their opponent was making.

That's just a fact. I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make.

Either way, the original confusion (why premove was taking time) has been cleared up, so I'm not so interested in continuing this particular topic :)
When my opponent takes a move I want that my premove is played with 0 time. And after that keep rendering my animation. If I have slow animation I am actually in disadvantage because I will see my opponent move later that without animation. But I am not forced to see animation, I can turn it off.
The time taken from clock should be from the time opponent piece has moved to your move. The network lag/animations etc should not be taken from the clock.
