Please, ban non-fair players.

I'm currently waiting for a complete tool with 18 minutes left on his clock stalling a lost position.

My suggestion:

If game is clearly lost and a person disconnect, use the average move time from the game as a timer for DC.

There is a huge difference in a disconnect when you are even/winning compared to -5 losing.
This is such a contentious topic.
If you were playing Magnus for the world championship, and he decided to go to the toilet, and didn't come back, I imagine we would all be quite pleased.
We must all recognise that LiChess is enjoyed by players from all over the world. Not all of those players are blessed with good internet connections. And whilst you might be horrified if your internet goes down for a few seconds, there are parts of the world where this is a fairly regular occurence. Should we exclude these players from LiChess ?
Of course there are going to be kids and idiots who notifry you. That is just life I am afraid.
I have actually thought of a solution for those that do get annoyed by this behaviour.
At the moment, if you go into a players profile, it does indicate the percentage of completed games, but it is quite a process to do this before playing each player. However, I don't think it would be a massive programming issue to take this statistic, and apply it in a colour code on the players details on the playing screen. Red for persistent transgressors, phasing to green for non transgressors. If you are of a disposition to avoid these players, you always have the option of abandoning the game before committing your first move.
But please please do not paint everyone with the same brush. I have some great friends in India, Russia, and South America who really love playing on LiChess, but are very aware that there connection is intermittent. Believe me, if they could stop their internet going down they would. Please don't let our beloved game become the domain of the priveleged only !
