What a major issue for challenging a friend for a correspondence game:
I choose the profile name, click the crossed swords (challenge the person), choose the options of the game, click the colour or randomize colours and the cirlce goes round and round waiting for the other person to accept. But the person is offline so cannot accept - and I dont have time to wait so just close the window. So the whole challenge cancels - the other person does not see it after logging in later. It works only if the person accepts the challenge while its is "active" on my laptop.
Use the "play with a friend" option? It creates the link to the game, I can copy the link and send a message to the person on lichhess. But the person logs in on the moblie app and has no clue about it because the app does not have the feature of reading messages.
So the question remains: how to challenge a person (a lichess account) for a corresponcence game, while the person is offline (and logs in later only on the mobile device), without using external means of messaging to inform about the link to the game??
