i use the computer?NO!

Yes, looks like YouSure get unlabeled. After that we came to an obvious conclusion: using opening books in classical is not a crime.
@Nonpareil
Yes thats the correct and logical thinking of a strong chessplayer, but still I'm not so sure. The rules say something different and we don't know what exactly happened in this case. As I said before, we need an official lichess statement to be sure. It's just confusing.
i will send an e-mail to the lichess staff to solve this...
That's what the rules say. But still it remains the question why the player was labeled a cheater and then unlabeled.
Of course in general no one could ever say if you use a book or have learnt your lines well. So it's only theoretical or for the case that someone tells us about his use in the forum.
#26 About him being labeled a cheater, sometimes players are labeled by mistake. The anti-cheating system does have flaws. Other times they're given a second chance.
Okay, but as you can see some players interpreted exactly this unlabeling as the permission to use opening books. And the player himself said, we will write a message to lichess to clarify it. So it seems he himself doesn't know what's going on. Very strange.
This is really wrong. Unless there are second chances being given to players - and I didn't think there were - shouldn't anyone who admits to using an opening book in anything other than correspondence be banned?? For instance, I play e4, so could I have a Sicilian pdf opening book open (as I play it particularly badly) to check lines?
Would you expect many guys to admit they are reading a book ?
I understand the idea, it's applicable and applied when playing OTB, but not here online IMHO.
