i use the computer?NO!

Of course, using an engine and using opening books is not the same. As in general two different things are not the same. This is why a new label was suggested. Or maybe you want to argue that we can all use books now? No, you didn't say that. You just said 2 things are not the same. And what's the point? Sorry, I don't get it.
Using opening books is not cheating. That's official for on-line chess.
However endgame tablebase books or chess-engines are cheating and should be banned no matter if it's correspondence or real-time games.
If you want play without opening explorer support you can ask your opponent about this detail before the game. Both players should have equal tools during match, this way it is fair.
I would like to see more people use opening books in their games because it will bring their chess at a new level and it is more interesting to play with someone who follows opening theory.
Where can I find something "official" for online chess? It seems that every site has their own rules. Here is the lichess rule about cheating:

In the context of the rules on Lichess, the general definition of "cheating" is when players use means other than their own chess intellect to win rated games or otherwise boost their ratings.

There is an exception for corres.
So I completely disagree with # 12. Has anybody asked his opponent before the games about the details which support is used? This sounds very strange.
Still would be great if a lichess moderator gave us a clear answer, as it seems there are different opinions.
"You may use an *opening book* for rated and/or unrated CORRESPONDENCE games."

clear enough
When playing OTB, you are allowed, of course, to play variants that you have memorized by reading books (whether or not it's a good habit is another question) ; but you are NOT allowed to have the book besides you when playing !
What are the rules here, I just don't know.
So now most of us agree that it's not allowed in Classical?
Do you see one correspondence game in his games ? No.
He's cheating so.
The interesting thing is, if we read from #1 up to #4, it seems that he was labeled a cheater already, but then they changed their mind?!
