Who is the head admin here?

The mods here are apparently deleting and locking perfectly valid complaints, and dinging me for "trolling" for committing the sin of simply noticing what they are doing.

I wish to send a complaint to someone higher up.

Delete this if you wish. I am meticulously logging everything.
Thumbs down and laughing emoji. yeah par for the course. Why not actually be a grown-up and address the HUGE trolling problems you have around here? Why not try to make this a 'safe space' (loathe as I am re: that concept) for people who just want to play chess and talk chess in a supportive environment?

No?

You'd rather play games and delete/lock/ban anyone who DARES advocate for a reasonable, earnest, sportmanship-oriented environment, safe and appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels?

Well, alrighty then. But at least have the courage to post your REAL name before you delete/lock this post.

The whole point of this post is to say that lichess should be place for promotion and celebration of chess, for players of all ages and skills level, and that it should not be a haven for trolls. If you lock or delete this post, you are simply supporting lichess' status as a haven for abusive trolls.
You're a real naming and shaming guy, aren't you?

Let's start with your real name then.

Nice try! If I give my real name that's against Lichess's TOS and that gives them an excuse to delete the whole thread.

My name is Taylor C. and I live in Central Florida (cue redneck/alligator jokes.) I'll gladly give my last name, city and last four digits of my SSN ̶i̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶m̶o̶d̶s̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶f̶i̶r̶m̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶r̶e̶a̶d̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶d̶e̶l̶e̶t̶e̶d̶ if someone has the guts to play me in person. I'll play anyone and everyone in person, as long as you aren't offend by my wearing a 3M P100 mask (I have health issues, sorry.)

My position: Be a reasonable, earnest, non-hateful human being. That is ALL I'm advocating. If the Lichess mods want to delete this thread because I'm advocating this simple, wholesome thing, so be it. I'm am a diehard pro-FOSS guy and would love to get my eight year old son involved in this site, but the problem is it embraces the very worst of trolling Reddit subculture. I am of the opinion that Lichess mods should stop enabling mindless, sheepish (sheeple! lololeolololol lol etc.) Reddit-style trolling and start promoting wholesome, chess-positive culture. And for daring to take position, my posts are being locked or deleted.
I really don't get what you are claiming or what you are worried about. Recently I often encountered your postings, @Mana-Burn, and I understand there is something you are highly unpleased about. You're making a political affair out of this. Maybe there are some who are trolling ... how can that be avoised in a community as large as this. But you have to search (and feed) them to make them really get noticed. If your little boy just wants to play chess and nothing else, this might still be the best place in the world ... (apart from a local chess club with otb practice).
It shouldn't be "political" to suggest that people should stop being vindictive, trolling little a**holes. It really shouldn't.

Just... stop it? Maybe just keep all the memy, mindless, hateful Reddit trash on Reddit? There are plenty of places for that nonsense.,,, /r/chess, /r/anarchychess, etc. Why does THIS place need to be infested with the same tired crap, spammed by basement-dwellers with no life? I'm suggesting perhaps the mods should consider blocking the people who reply with stupid, brainless, ad-hom trash and perhaps NOT ban people (and/or delete their posts) who suggest the mods shouldn't be enabling such trollish garbage.

It shouldn't be so controversial to suggest that the mods NOT censor those people who suggest that this should be a pro-sportsmanship, pro-noob place instead of a pro-troll, halfassed Reddit clone.

I don't know you, but maybe (just a shot in the dark) some "problems" you face here are the accumulation of inaccurate postings, like the one i quoted above.

There is literally NO rule in the TOS that states, you are not allowed to use your real name as a username or show your name in any way. Mine is shown im my profile page, btw. as lots of others do, too. More on the contrary, see "Impersonation"...

lichess.org/terms-of-service

- Inappropriate usernames - Usernames are public and displayed all over the website, meaning children or vulnerable users may read them. A username chosen with the intent of generating negative emotional reactions will be closed. This includes sensitive topics, disparaging usernames, sexism, racism, bigotry, adult language, or usernames otherwise likely to cause harm or offence.
Abusing copyrighted material or intellectual property - Examples of these would be the sharing or distribution of chess literature, puzzle sets, annotations, or any other material or intellectual property you do not have the right to share or distribute. If you think your own copyrighted material or intellectual property has been used without permission, please report the user and get in touch with us.

- Impersonation - This is when a user pretends to be someone who they are not, including impersonation or implying you have a national or FIDE title. This may be due to a misleading username or other public or private profile information or communications. In some cases, we may ask for ID confirmation to check who you claim to be.

Have fun!

My apologies for not having the lichess TOS memorized, but I'm pretty sure other TOSes have rules against real names being used.

Is that *really* what you want to focus on, my revealing my real name? I mean, this is all a bit adversarial, is it not? Rather speaks to my wider point about the trolls who are running wild here. I don't particularly think this is useful or healthy thing to focus on. Nevertheless, I'd be willing to meet and play anyone in person in the Central Florida area and show my driver's license if that will make you happy (as long as you can wait a couple of weeks for our COVID wave to die down first.)
I still do not understand, sorry, What is a "Reddit trash" anyway? Maybe I don't recognize one when I see one.
What I see that you always complain about this purely moderated site without telling what is so bad about it. Some people (especially some who share the country flag with you) considered it offending that Russians are allowed to play here; some people demand that you be banned if you don't resign a game when in disadvantage; some accuse Lichess of not prosecuting cheaters harshly enough ... What of that all is "memy, mindless, hateful" trolling, what is legitimate? And after all, you don't need to read these forums.

I don't really care about anyone's real name. It's just that you seem awefully interested in the real names of moderators. Look in the mirror I say.
