Hello Everyone, thank you all for weighing in on the issue. I really appreciate the community coming together and discussing what this site REALLY needs. Just about a month ago I fought hard for a handshake button to be implemented in lichess Tournament style games. It got interest, but really no admin level attention. Simply put, there are TOO MANY demands on the programmers, and not enough man power to satisfy all of them. There is also a careful balance between simplicity and fun that needs to be achieved. They counteract each other and it takes a democracy to figure out whether or not ":kitty" is suitable for lichess. I am proposing that we create a poll for the motion. Please do me a favor, shoot me a follow and I will get right back on this.
