Having become a little bit nostalgic yesterday evening and thinking again (after years) abouts Thibaults comment in my archived thread lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/i-miss-the-map#1

How about only relaying the moves of titled players? If this is still too much - GM moves only?
Ok, we meanwhile have ultrabullet, which might still mess the map up.
Maybe only the moves of titled players in games of slower time controls (blitz, rapid, classical,...)?
I still consider the map to be an awesome feature - not only for advertising lichess.
You immediately get an impression of the community... and that really good chess is played here. ;-)
