After placing the king over the rook, the rook disappears. It works fine on the analysis board.
Can you link to such game?
No need for a link. Only king is moved in all correspondence 960 games when you have "confirm move" turned on, after castling just before you confirm it (then it displays the rook when server confirms the position). It needs some more javascript love.
