Opening theme tournament is only casual

#10
An evaluation of -0.9 in the opening says nothing. Engines are weak in openings without their opening books, as 32-men positions are too complex with too many possibilities for any meaningful evaluation within their calculation horizon. King's Gambit has been played by top humans in top encounters, so it is considered balanced despite the engine evaluation.

The drop down menu was meant to offer a selection of openings considered balanced.

If you enter your FEN, then you can enter an unbalanced opening, that would distort the rating system.
A blatant example is upside down chess, which wins for white and tricks the players.
Another example would be some refuted opening.
@tpr I guess I am repeating myself but no, it is not so easy for White to force a win otherwise I would not be able to draw or even get winning positions against online engines, such as :

No idea what is the actual stength of Fairy Stockfish though.
TPR-I remember that you used to be able to access a drop down menu of all openings that you can use in a theme but it's no longer there. Where can I find openings that are considered fair for rated play?
TPR-why can't you be honest with me and tell me why I can't create a RATED tournament from a starting opening position. You insult my chess intelligence when you talk about non equality because I use the exact same opening from an Arena tournament that IS rated.

I am a patron of Lichess-I should be able to create rated tournaments.
"Don't you know that the sign for insanity is trying something again and again and expecting a different result?"
"Lichess is free,for everyone,forever."
"Patron does not have any premium rewards"
I understand that I don't have additional privileges but why can't I do what I used to do? There is NO reason that I shouldn't be able to have rated theme tournaments
