#1 Sadly, Monster Chess is solved although I don't want to spoil it for everyone by revealing the solution.
@Toadofsky I have read the same coded page, not sure whether this qualifies as solution. Tiger Hunt was recently solved though, by a Harvard mathematician.
I don't know why but there are three beautiful chess variants that are only implemented in Zillions of Games.
They are:
Alice Chess (also the 0 moves variant) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice_chess
(It can be played on a single board by switching colours at each move)
Anti-King Chess II http://www.chessvariants.com/diffobjective.dir/anti-king-chess.html
Gorgon and Gorgona chess http://mlwi.magix.net/bg/gorgonachess.htm

Perhaps crazyhouse and bughouse can be implemented.
Jennifer Shahade posted a pic a few days ago where she was playing Dice Chess.

I didn't know about that variation and I'm not a fan of variations as well but it seems to be fun.

#24 Alice chess sounds interesting although I assume any game involving a non-8x8 board would be tricky.
Anti-king chess sounds tactical and theory-heavy & likely players would struggle playing it.
Gorgon/Gorgona chess sounds like it wouldn't play well in bullet time controls.
#25 By all means, let us know when you've finished coding it! :-) But honestly, bughouse sounds super complex and I don't understand how it would work on the mobile app either.

#24 #27 How about a variant with an infinite chessboard?
