Why did you make your username?

lichess.org/forum/off-topic-discussion/how-did-you-think-up-your-lichess-username-?page=1 was archived so im reopening it. I was at a friend's house and deciding a username. my friend said "didn't' your dad farm potatoes?" and im like "yeah he does managing stuff for a fancy potato company." so i became fancy_potato but i wanted people to know there was only 1 so i added an I which was supposed to look like a 1 but it doesnt so Ifancy_potato

Me being a Shadow the Hedgehog fan + liking the name 'Shadow' = Shadow; 1414 is a secret, however.

There was a storm in the UK called Storm Freya, and I thought that since my name's Freya, Hurricane_Freya would sound pretty cool

You could have gone for Fx_in_the_UK, where x stands for the initial of your second name.

Mine was one of the few three-letters usernames still available.

"BautznerSenfkorn" means "mustard seed of Bautzen" ... this city is famous for its mustard. Like a marriage made in heaven.

speaking of usernames with only a few letters, first person to reply to this gets a 4 letter one
