The threat on Russian People

"I have declared Russia outlawed forever, the bombing will begin in five minutes."
It’s interesting that on YouTube it was Ukrainian channels that celebrated the anniversary of this cute joke.

> Russia is gambling with the future of mankind.
In the 90s, the United States carried out work on creating a missile defense system. After several successful tests, in the early 2000s the United States withdrew from the ABM Treaty.
Let me remind you that the ABM Treaty was considered the cornerstone of the entire nuclear war prevention system. Equal and indivisible security of the parties was declared. Today this system of strategic treaties is dead, and the United States is busily preparing for war.

Means of delivering a disarming strike without the use of nuclear warheads, or with limited use of them.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_national_missile_defense
If, after delivering a disarming strike, the enemy still has some missiles left, the missile defense system will be able to repel their strike and reduce possible damage to an acceptable level.

This is what is hidden behind the talk about Russian nuclear weapons rattling.
Do you really think Russia is comparable with Nazi Germany? How many countries were annexed by Russia in two years? NATO is expanding too, by the way. While it's not annexation, it is still military alliance, hostile to Russia.

Huge difference between a defensive alliance, where the countries choose to join and being invaded by a large foreign power run by a ruthless dictator.

NATO is not hostile to Russia, only to any attempts BY Russia to invade and occupy.

As to comparisons, well both were fledgling democracies where a powerful leader was elected and then destroyed the free press, killed or imprisoned all who opposed him, took control of the election system to stay in power permanently and started to invade the neighboring nations while claiming to want nothing but peace and that he only did it because he felt threatened.
The expansion of NATO -- a mere treaty organization -- is not REMOTELY the same as physically invading another nation and seizing its land.

NATO has made no incursions into Russia. And Ukraine isn't even part of NATO. NATO is designed simply to deter its members from being attacked by those with dreams of renewed empire. Does anybody REALLY BELIEVE that America and England and France and Germany lust after Russian land?

America, long ago, helped to supply the Soviets with what they needed to survive the Nazi onslaught. And the T-34 was not the only tank used by Russia in the Second World War. Indeed, the Soviets even used the English Challengers.

Furthermore, the idea that America is dreaming of attacking Russia is utter nonsense. Trying to blame long-dead Reagan for the invasion of Ukraine is very creative! Let's ask the Ukrainians if they blame Reagan for the war. I think I can predict the answer. Reagan isn't destroying their cities.

Not our problem, your living your fantasy, we do not need to convince you and Putin proves our point almost every week.

The reason people die is that Russia attacked, not that Ukraine defend itself. If Russia withdraws deaths will stop.
Countries invaded and conquered (annexed) by the USSR/Russia in the last 100 years: 19-21 depending on your count, including 5-6 countries while allied with literal Nazi Germany

Countries invaded and conquered (annexed) by the US in the last 100 years: 0
