The threat on Russian People

I wanna open this topic to discuss the risks that Russian people are facing, and if they acknowledge that.

If a nuclear war happens, the most threatened population in the planet is the Russian people, following other nations.

I won't discuss long, though.

Open your minds!
Then we must hope that their current dictator Putin does not act like previous dictators and want to destroy everything rather than risk losing his power.
Bah, it's just a matter of minutes between the Russians and the others...

As soon as the first nuclear bomb is launched again, there will be a cascade of others within a few minutes. There will be instantaneous deaths, then those due to radioactive fallout for a very long time.

The sky will darken because of the dust which will be raised into the air, which will cause another indirect cataclysm.

Supplies will be disrupted across the world and those who survived the bombs will suffer from no longer being sufficiently supplied.

In short, it will be the apocalypse for the whole world.

By the way, current hydrogen bombs are 1000 times more powerful than Little Boy which was dropped on Hiroshima, this guarantees that there will be no escape through the back door.

The final result will be : nuclear weapons 1, human kind 0
Is there a possibility, that Putin is not 100% dictator and some russian people just want war?

Imagine your brother just want to punch you because you have a better cake/toy car than him, even though your father probably punch him back later...Is there anything that can really stop russians?

"Democratic" countries also start wars and lose wars and get punished, Argentina as example.

Argentina was not by any measure a democracy when it started any of its wars - but getting their butt kicked by the UK make the dictatorship unpopular enough that they became a democracy.
More nuclear scares...
The nukes now are not nearly as strong as they were. There will not be any nuclear winter, not even after an all out nuclear war.

Russian trolls are trying to scare west from supporting Ukraine. Don't believe them, don't repeat their lies. Don't be a useful idiot.

If Russia are afraid of any consequences, they can retreat from Ukraine.

This is a major problem in the conflict.
Russia has no backdoor.
They can't escape without a huge, economic crippling loss.
Plus, if Putin redraws, he would sign his own death sentence.
There are elements of criticism within Russia, claiming he is not aggressive enough. And others claiming he is to aggressive. If he losses power, either one of them would have his head.
A redrawing would cripple the Russia economy and their international influence throughout the 21 century.

Likewise Ukraine can not give up their claim on the conquered territories, as it would cripple their economy, leaving them depend on outside aid. At the cost of economic and energy dependency from both Europe and Russia.

There is no win/win situation.
And any loss would be devastating for either countries.
Ukraine's future economy lies with the resources in occupied Ukraine.
And Russia's future economy lies within the prevention of Ukraine harvesting those resources, and thereby undermining their monopoly of oil/gas trade to eastern and central Europe. Plus their access to the Mediterranean ocean through the Crimea harbor.
And Crimea is a territory Russia can't keep sustainable without also owning the Kherson region.
Nuclear war is a threat to all people.
It's a small world after all.

Nonsense... If we nuke them first, they don't have a chance to retaliate.
