It's a great, fashionable opening (among the Hippocognoscenti), and a worthy (but dangerous) animal.

Edit: Just a few minutes ago, as if by magic, my noble opponent actually unleashed a Hippo against me! It ended in a draw. But since he was playing with black, he probably wasn't disappointed. The Hippo seems rarely to disappoint.
