Most pieces are still on board. It's quite rare to see such a dumb move to be the best one.

It depends on position (about move being dumb)
1. e4 e5 2. Ke2 is the dumbest move and only some guys find it interesting.

It happens sometimes, in this particular case the King is even safer in e2, and you're not castling anyway.

Agreeing with Aura. It doesn't seem much dumb. Also it wins a peice.

But of course no one can argue about that it is a strange and nice move.
