If u meet h4 with f5 and a4 with c5 that indicates in someway you are playing in a defensive way defending for whites attack. There is also nothing saying h4 and g4 are better than e5 and d5 even if white manages to play it. If white starts an unsound attack I think it would be better starting an own attack in the centre instead of defending for an unsound attack which might give the initiative to white because you aren't doing anything yourself. I'm not an expert in these weird opening but it just doesn't feel temptating playing in this way. I would try e5 and d5 against these openings.
We must play some day, and I will show the Zaitzev's attack. :D; showing you that chess is not all -d4, or -e4..., it's about ideas an schemes.
