why are the yankees stupid and slow minded ? something I noticed not only here but in other chess forums...
I am neither stupid nor slow minded. I don't usually mind profanity; I'm just a bit taken aback by how you managed to shoehorn cursing into a chess game in a way I wouldn't have thought possible.
i guess it just underscores what happens when you create a 'nationality' from rejects the world over --- cut us a little slack m8
#4 - americans are not more stupid or slow minded than other nations. My experience is : they are very often very openhearted, friendly and helpful. What their politicians are doing is a completely different story.
One can be stupid, yet openhearted, friendly and helpful.
America is a big place, while I tend to view the country as a whole in a negative light. It is due to polictics and gung ho attitude on invading other lands, stealing resources that are not theirs, droning, gitmo, hunting whistleblowers ect.
While I do think more of the populace should strive to be informed, I understand it is an unrealistic expectation due to the quality of education they receive in secondary schools. And yes, while their universities are some of the most renown in the world, only those who are bourgeoisie can attend comfortably, while all others amass crippling debt.
Having said all that, Americans make for some really good freinds. :)

#8 I agree completely to your views about american foreign politics,
no better than the Soviet Union was practising in the past: world domination. Their containment policy of Russia can lead to the biggest disaster ever. The US is also responsible to a large extend to the chaos in the Middle East and the millions of refugees invading Europe. The american way of living doesn´t suit all other nations.
