The exact timing of the world's end is unpredictable. All we can hope for is that it ends gradually. Will we even believe that it's the end, when it comes? We live on a planet that is constantly moving and changing. Thank god we live in the present, because the past has already ended.
Maybe our journey will end when we settle in a space colony. That would be an end to the old and a beginning for the new world order. Who knows, AI's could probably be controlling the new world space colonies. So by then we could be saying good bye to our life savings. The AI's aim might be to survive no matter what. If AI's consider the present world as their home, they might colonize it, like humans did. When AI's start using humans according to their own coding ethics, it will be the end of the world as we know it.
