Carlsen versus Nepomniachtchi: FIDE World Championship Round 2

This game was winning for nepo but innacuraccies led to a draw
Fabiano drew 12 games in a row against Magnus in the world championship last year. Hope this year it wouldn't be the case

It wasn't last year, you probably meant "last championship" in 2018, London.

Btw. I find nothing boring on drawing games, I find them very instructional. This one, again, how Magnus can return to almost lost game.
"Small advantage to Nepo" is a touch of an understatement, and I've even seen some other articles claim that Carlsen "got a good position and pressed the whole game before Nepo managed to draw". What?

Carlsen is human too and was pretty happy to escape what he himself described as a tough position. He played really well to keep chances alive and it worked out, but it wasn't a smooth day at the office for him. Carlsen is well aware that a couple of accurate moves from Nepo might have made today a very bad day.
Stockfish confirms no one had a winning position so far in the tournament.

If a position is not winning against best play how big of an advantage is it? Not too big I feel.
"Winning" is somewhat subjective when you're talking about computer evaluations, but Nepo was at minimum much better going into the middlegame; I would argue close to winning, but at some point we're splitting hairs. Carlsen was in trouble, Nepo failed to find the most testing ideas a couple of times, and Carlsen displayed incredible technique to survive the game. Very fun game to watch overall, I hope there are many more like this in the event
