So many fun choices I would run out of time before choosing.

I would spend way too much time choosing the "prettiest" mate :) But I saw Qf7# first

ok, you want checkmate let me look in the area of the king. oh look the queen is nearby. can i give mate with it? yeah, qf7#? ok, the queen's a powerful piece can i give another mate? qh8? nope the bishop's got that covered. let me zoom out and take a look at the whole board. oh ihave a dark-squared biship, i can probably do that criss-cross mate thingey, yep Bh6#. and what else. i don't see. oh wait the bishop is pinned on f6, so i can play qh8#. alright let me type this up, since i know everyone will be interested in my thought process.

Well, 1st thing that comes to ur mind - that was the question.

I think Qf7 looks like the easiest mate, but i already had the idea of mating with the queen at the corner a few moves ago, so i focused more on the corner.

Qf7#, second mate I saw was Bh6# and only then I saw Qh8#
Quite interesting to think of the cause of that. Must be something that has to do with pattern-recognition I guess.
Hand that on to the neuro-scientists, I'd be hyped for explanations!
