A very nice "extended" version of the standard Philidor's Legacy combination in which (1) you had to remove White's f1 rook first, (2) you then had to use checks and discovered checks to manoeuvre the knight ready for the final queen sac, and (3) instead of the pure smothered mate you had the distant bishop controlling an escape square. Very attractive.

31... Nd1+ is a move faster (note that it said mate in 8, not 9).
Technically not a Smothered mate cause the possible flight square h2 is not occupied by White's own piece (like pawn) rather controlled by Black's piece (bishop).
