Simple but sound opening vs e4?

thats why i love the caro cause its not forced, its something which can delve into many positions which are easily simple to remember once you understand the key idea of those positions and the theme, its like drinking your favorite soda imo @DERG_CHESS

which is again something very easy to learn unless you just don't like it due to your style but then again...
everything thats super complicated varies and theres a ton of more theory and stuff which cant compare to the caro or some other sidelines, offbeat openings, modern lines, and dry things as these are more "positional grinding games"
@ShreksGonGiveItToYa there was a game where a person i think named micheal played an offbeat opening and beat karpov as well he probably took him out of book right from the gates making the game more light but still dynamic, it was really had spirit!
