I'm on the hunt. Got any tips?

> @master_of_DARKNESS I know several sub-1200 players that are fantastic coaches for kids who are just getting involved in the game. When you're teaching chess to young beginners, especially those who are still learning how the pieces move, having patience and strong communication skills is more important than having a big rating next to your name. Obviously if you have loftier goals (like earning a title) you should find a coach better suited to your needs.

Showing how the pieces move doesen't make you a coach and one should certainly not make money on it, and I've seen alot of these fraudsters roaming around. They bring nothing but misguidance if anything and should not be allowed to coach, nor advertise their coaching on any chess site imo, it's borderline fraud even if open about their 800 rating

I'd hate to see someone gullible spend money on a coach not even 1500 rated. That you can even support this behaviour I find plenty off odd but to each their own.
@master_of_DARKNESS This is an excerpt from the chess.com page of the person you reported:

"I offer FREE Coaching to those with an elo of 100-1000. And I find Coaches that work best for your Disadvantages (If you have any), and work best for your elo. What I mean is I refer to Awesome, nice, and (sometimes) Free or even Cheap Coaches that can teach you from an elo of 1000-2000 And maybe even higher. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

Questions, Comments, Concerns? Post it in the comments session below.

Thank You for your time, And as always Have a Nice Day!"

This person is not a fraud, this person is an asset to the chess community. Do not abuse the report feature, do not look down on people that you think aren't skilled enough, and do not wantonly accuse people of fraud. You've been behaving like a jerk to somebody who's trying to grow the game that we love

"sometimes Free" , "cheap coaches".

I know a scam when i see one. And if this is not a scam, theres too many out there, pawning themselves off as a coach that shouldn't be. If i came to lichess or chess.com to learn, I'd hate to be stuck with a guy like this.

Feel free to see the best in people but I don't.
"... Logical Chess [(Batsford edition by Chernev)] ... a collection of 33 games ... is definitely for beginners and players who are just starting to learn about development, weak squares, the centre, standard attacking ideas, and the like. In many ways, it would [be] a wonderful 'first' book (or first 'serious' book, after the ones which teach the rules and elementary mates, for example), and a nice gift for a young player just taking up chess. ..." - IM John Watson (1999)

When all else fails, complain about complaining about downvoting.

I strongly suggest not playing for traps. Learn to outplay them. Drill tactics and endgames.
