A game I did, please tell me what you would have done.

Would you have done the rook sacrifice? Also the opening was the only set of moves I used from youtube, I tried to use the concepts I learned from GM Naroditsky to win the game.
The rook sacrifice or more exactly exchange sacrifice is quite standard against the fianchetto, for example Fischer often played it against the Sicilian Dragon.
Black played the opening too passively. 6...b6 should have been 6...c5 or 6...e5.
9...a6 is passive again.
15...Ba6 and 16...Bc8 loses more time.
Instead of 22...h6 he could have defended 22...Qg4. Then your attack is blunted, but you still have compensation because his pieces stand badly.
well the rook sac was (I guess) neccesary because it shattered the black king side and gave you a great attacking position. Though in the begin you made to many pawn moves. First you are supposed to develop your pieces, then castle then grab space and finally you attack.
@goldbeard Well, I wanted to try a new opening. The thought behind it was, I wanted my opponent to have badly placed and/or inactive pieces. While I also prevent them from piece development. This would give me more time to develop my pieces while the opponent tries to recover.
Yes it worked well, but only because black played passively, starting with 6...b6?
and 12. fxg7 ... was a tactic missed, though then the resultant position might not have been easy
Yes 12 fxg7 was a clear win. It does not matter however, as 12 Rh2 also led to a won position. The black pieces stand so badly, that white effectively has more useful material at his disposal.
This opening is kinda hilarious. I would not try such an opening with a high rated opponent as they would not allow to be boxed in like in this game. If black can break through your pawns you are in trouble as your king is exposed and your pieces are not developed.
