I am a 21 y/old FM from Croatia. My grandpa showed me the game of chess at the age of 6 and I fell in love with it ever since. I'm currently a student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Rijeka and I try to make some room for the things I love, including chess ofc :)
About me
Playing experience
I've played a lot of open/rapid/blitz tournaments in Croatia. I also played many times at the national junior championships often finishing at the top spots.
I played at the 2012 World Youth Chess Championship in Maribor and at the Europen Youth CC in Bratislava in 2019.
So far, I won against a couple GMs and IMs at over-the-board classical tournaments, but I'm sure more wins are yet to come :)
Eventually I crossed the 2300 fide rating mark and became Fide Master in 2020.

Teaching experience
Regarding the coaching experience, I've been teaching ''one on one'' for the last 2 years and I've worked a lot with kids at my local chess club.
Apart from chess, a lifetime of communicating with many people across the world should be plenty of experience to teach something I have very close at heart and pass this passion on to you :)

Teaching methodology
My main goal is to help you find the best playstyle that portraits you as a person and subsequently suits you as a chess player. I like to focus more on the ideas, plans and the why, rather than on concrete moves and position, which will come natural to you and will also greatly benefit you in the long run.
For lessons I use Skype in conjuction with lichess which is an absolutely flawless tool to learn chess ( studies, opening tree, chess engine etc... ).
At the end of the day, we all love the magical world of the 64 squares for a reason, and I can be your guide to achieve your goals.
