When your close to 1000 online I suppose anything is possible.

Any time you are mated after only 2 moves is a fools mate so yes. It was whites 3rd move, but black was mated after only playing 2 moves so yes.

I'm interested in the name of this opening though, the borg defense. Is there some star trek connection? Having seen the borg on star trek, you would think they come up with something more powerful.

I've seen a person play fool's mate three times IN A ROW. And of course he lost.

borg 1...g5 is grob 1 g4 in reverse.
