Someone's salty about getting mated quickly

en.lichess.org/7AnklKub/black#9

Then after game guy PMed me

"don't feel proud of yourself"

Whatever makes you feel better I guess lol

I don't know if sharing this is unethical or not but I just found it too funny to not share
Well, in all fairness, their blitz rating is higher than yours. At the same time, though, you can easily find numerous examples of bad sportsmanship when looking at their account (they sometimes refuse to move against high-rated players, and they often leave the game when they are in a losing position).
Nobody likes losing but I find it pretty jarring how indignant some people can be when they've lost, especially when they've lost in spectacular fashion.

This morning I was in a blitz game on another site where my opponent played 2. Qh5 (white playing for Scholar's Mate). I laid a trap for his queen which, although not 100% sound, usually works in the kind of game where 2.Qh5 is played, and it did work in this case.

When he realized his queen was trapped, what ensued was an onslaught of sexually explicit insults directed at my mother. I just gave him a smiley face and told him if he can't handle losing maybe he shouldn't play chess, or at least stop playing for Scholar's Mate.
They were wrong to insult you, however in my opinion as soon as you typed "whatever makes you feel better lol", you returned fire. So you're in the wrong too, in my opinion.
In my opinion, the person who started the insults is in the wrong.

xXDaveXx showed considerable restraint in his reply.

Well done Dave. That was a good win made all the more pleasurable when you beat a dislikeable person.
@KokoASMR he was not even insulted. The guy just said "don't feel proud of yourself".

@phlegm What are you talking about? The OP got all sensitive and uspet because that guy said"don't feel proud of yourself"?!

Are you kidding me? If you have a tantrum over something like that and feel an urge to cry about it on a forum then you have problem.
@BestSiteEver

Sorry, my mistake. I confused Dave's post with the insults mentioned on trickynicks post.

Thanks for helping me clear things up
Fun fact: I only read this thread to find out what it means to be 'salty'
