Check Transformation

One idea I had for a variant would be one in which when not in check the king can only move one square in any direction however when in check for this variant the king would temporarily become the most powerful piece with the same moves as all the other pieces combined with the exception that it has to if possible get to safety. So for instance in this variant if the king was in a position in which jumping over pieces is the only way out of check it would move like a knight and capture the attacking knight. Alternatively if the king had one pawn in front of it and two other pawns diagonally in front of it on either side and there was a queen three squares away from the king being in check would temporarily give the king the same powers as the queen allowing it to capture the queen. Because being in check would give the king special powers there would be no legal moves to put the king into check if that would put the other king into check because that would mean the opponent was moving into check. So for instance if the king was a knight shadow from the other king then there would be no legal moves to put the king in check.
1. Do you mean to say if king is in check:
It will attempt to move like a king, if no legal move, it will attempt to move like a knight, if no legal move, it will attempt to move like a bishop, if no legal move it will attempt to move like a rook, if no legal move it will attempt to move like a queen, if still no legal move, it is considered as checkmated.

2. Does the ordering of power matters?

3. How about if the king is in check and the attacker can be captured by other pieces, so the king now is safe, is this legal?

4. After getting out of check thru special powers like a queen for example , does the king retains its power as a queen or it will return to its original king status.
