Playing chess on this or other sites hurts my eyes? What can be done?

I have no problem using regular websites, playing other video games or using this site forum.

BUT when I play, solve tactics or do anything on the board here or on other sites my eyes start to hurt.

I assume that is because the board is coded differently ( so that you can move the pieces ) so that there is constant FPS fluctuation?

Could anything be done to make the fps higher or constant? Or some other change to make it easier on the eyes?

Anyone else here with the same problem?

I tried using different browsers, no effect.

p.s. Before stupid kids and trolls start with "OMg visit an eye doctor.." let me say my eyesight is great and like I said i have no problems using regular websites, playing other video games ( 60fps ) etc.

You're quite vague about your symptoms but it might be because of:
-too quick eye movements
-you don't blink enough (concentration)

If it has never been done you might also want to check yourself for astigmatism.

@RookThrower Honest question - are you trolling or are you really that dumb?

I am serious, I would love to hear that you are just a troll. I have no problem with feeding trolls but if you are actually serious then that really is sad.

Have you tried adjusting your display brightness and/or the lighting in the room? What are your board image settings on?

Hmm, looks serious. I guess you have Eye-Aids. This is a new sickness. It happens to people who call people who just want to help them, because they asked for help "dumb troll". It also happens to people who put too many things in their anus. Visit an eye doctor. And dont put so many things in your anus.

Now THIS was trolling. See the difference?

Why would you ask for help if you are just going to berate people for trying to give you advice?
