So I recently started playing correspondence chess again.

Is it okay to use a study to make notes for the games? If I disable the engine? Its much easier to do that than to use the notes feature.
As you said, if you do not consult the engine, then this is perfectly acceptable.
sadly theres a lot of engine users in the correspondence.
I have an opening book I consult, but I don't use engines. I'd read on chess.com that this is what people consider standard.

Also, you're not supposed to ask anyone for help.
My idea is just to use the study for keeping my own analysis in.
I think that is a good idea! Sometimes when you wait for your opponent you forget what you want to play. Sometimes I miss some obvious moves.
