corvett #4I have an opening book I consult, but I don't use engines. I'd read on chess.com that this is what people consider standard.Also, you're not supposed to ask anyone for help.
PatzerGareBear13edited #6I think that is a good idea! Sometimes when you wait for your opponent you forget what you want to play. Sometimes I miss some obvious moves.
