Date Filter in insights

I think this was a swing and a miss. When i heard there was a date feature i got really excited, but was disapointed what it meant.
What i was hoping for was a way to look at the information exactly the same way, but perhaps look at last month, 3 months, 6 months...because as we improve (hopefully) we would want to see that reflected by metrics in the most recent time frame. However all it does is change it to daily #s, which is kinda useless honestly...unless someone would like to provide insight (no pun intended) on how they use it.
Anyways, hope that makes sense....still love this place!

You're asking for a relational query... Lichess uses a non-relational database so relational queries are disk-heavy.

@Toadofsky if there's one thing Lichess has shown me it's this: never say something is too difficult - these devs always make me (and others) eat those words. Love it.

I'm always doing a balancing act trying to inform people without saying "that's too difficult".

Fantastic...and this is why i love this site....I hope i didnt comment on it after it had been addressed, but it was just something i noticed on the first day i checked out the date filter.

I did notice however that by using the dropdowns on the top as opposed to the setup filters on the left hand side still results in issue i described originally. For example i was able to see the "opportunism in game phase", then filtered date to see last month, last two weeks etc. from the choices on left hand side...but from top, it started doing its funny business again...

Ahh, NVM, i understand now...its as if there are "three dimensions" to the insights, and to see them grouped how i would like require the date "dimension" selected from left. Ok....
