I cannot chess

When I am up queens I simply cannot convert very well, In fact i am pretty sure when I am a queen up I lose 99% of the time.

This guy named @jonkristinn99 (magnus carlsen) was in utter disbelief when i lost a queen up.

Please help my crippling depression
You got greedy, and were fine until 24. Nf1. If instead 24.Bf3... Exchanges occur, black gets a little material back but you remain up a rook for a pawn with an easily won endgame.
You play too passively. Once material up, you should play more active moves to make your extra material useful. 9 Rc1 10 a3 11 Nd2 19 Nf2 are all too passive. 9 d4 open up the game.

Look at the position before 24 Nf1?: are the rook at c1 and the pawn at a3 any better than where they were? Have you improved your position since you won his queen? Has he improved his position since he lost his queen?

24 Nf1? is a mistake, but the tactical opportunity for your opponent comes from your passive play before.
Well, you know generally, if you are that far ahead i.e. you got a queen for a bishop, then you should be aiming to exchange pieces at every chance. In this game you made some blunders, but at least you did the right thing with the knights. You swapped them off.
@SillyWords you are right that the one up in material should trade material, but the way white did that is wrong. White spent too many moves to exchange knights that had only made a few moves. This all leads to lost tempi, and hence to better development for black look at the knights, the rooks, the bishop at b7 and hence tactical chances for black. The right way to exchange pieces is not to hop around with knights to exchange a well placed knight, but it is to occupy strong squares, then the opponent will exchange pieces for you. Hence 9 d4! intending 9...cxd4 10 Nxd4 and black will want to play ...Nc6 and exchange on d4.
@tpr, whilst you are right in the long term, I think you are over complicating things here. You're talking about a player who states that despite being a queen up, they lose regularly. Talking about tempo and strong squares is several levels ahead of what this type of player should be focussing on at the moment. They swapped the knights inefficiently, but they got the job done. It's a small step forward.
i dont think that your opponent at this game is magnus carlsen
I like how chess is used as a verb and plan to copy this!
