How ratings relate to statistical chances of winning a game?

Based on the Glicko-2 ratings used by lichess alone what are the chances of a player with a certain rating winning against a player of another rating? so if 2 players are rated 1500 each then I would expect it to be a 50/50 they should be evenly matched. If a player is 1500 and playing against a 1600 or 1700 or 1800 then what are the statistical chances of the 1500 player winning before any moves are played considering ratings alone. I would like to know the mathematical relationship between the chances of a player of any rating winning against a player of any other rating, if there is an equation that explains this relationship that would be great.
