Wow. I live in the US, and these guys only know English. My parents are from India, so that's where I am descended from. There are so many Indian languages, but most of them haven't died yet.

#13 There are many Indian languages that are endangered though, some critically - for example Aimol, spoken by fewer than 3,000 people in Manipur.
I checked this thread, and now I wonder what would happen at this point if I had written "Indian languages died because of the British occupation"

Minor villages spread throughout the Indian continent (I know it's not a continent) speak Sanskrit in their daily lives.
