Why is this the best move?

I thought 14. Nxd5 would lose material after Bb5. Why does the computer say it is the best move?

The exchange is a small price to pay for such a center, development and weakness-free position. You've already got one pawn for it, another one will fall on a5 or f5, say, 14.Nxd5 Bb5 15.Ne3 Bxf1 16.Rxf1 0-0 17.Nxf5+/- .
